The superstar doubled down on her love for plaid while dining with Este Haim and stylist friend Ashley Avignone in NYC

Taylor Swift loves a preppy print — and a short hemline!

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the 34-year-old superstar’s recent penchant for plaid continued as she stepped out in New York City for a girls’ night out at private supper club Chez Margaux with Este Haim and stylist friend Ashley Avignone. She opted for a calf-length black-and-white plaid coat which matched her high-waisted miniskirt, both by Carolina Herrera.

For a wintery touch, the singer added a black turtleneck (also Carolina Herrera) but went sans tights, instead showing off her super-toned legs. Swift’s accessories also stood out; she carried Fendi’s Peekaboo ISeeU Petite purse (which retails for $4,400) and towered in $1,500 black Gucci horsebit slingback platforms.

Swift’s jewelry was chic and familiar, wearing her go-to gold Louis Vuitton Tambour watch and EFFY jewelry’s 14K gold, sapphire and diamond Panther necklace, with a $10,995 price tag.)

Swift’s signature blonde locks were styled into a soft blowout, her signature bangs parted slightly and framing her face.

The star’s go-to makeup look was also present. She kept things classic with winged eyeliner and a bold shade of orange-red lipstick, a slight departure from her long-beloved cherry red or her recent fav, a soft brownish-red.

The “Cruel Summer” singer recently made waves with her latest game-day fit, a matching plaid look. On Nov. 10, Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce in a Versace tweed red-and-black windowpane blazer ($3,350) and miniskirt ($1,695) as well as a Versace black bag and knee-high Versace black boots.

The look seems to have inspired Lucy Liu, who sported a similar outfit while promoting her new movie Red One. Liu’s red and black plaid suit is also by Versace, though the actress styled hers with black tights underneath.

On Oct. 7, Swift attended Kelce’s game in yet another plaid fit, a red and brown plaid mini dress and handbag by Vivienne Westwood. She also sported a pair of chunky leather boots and wore her hair in a carefree ponytail.

Her accessories and glam made just as much of an impact; spaceship earrings, rings by EFFY Jewelry, her signature red lip and glitter freckles from Fazit Beauty completed the look.

She kicked off her plaid streak at the 2024 MTV VMAs, putting a completely sexy spin on her love of all things prep. Swift teamed a yellow plaid bustier top featuring an attached skirt with a pair black velvet hot pants and caged leather gloves, all Dior. She teamed the look with thigh-high Stuart Weitzman boots and 30-carat Lorraine Schwartz pear shape canary yellow diamond earrings.
