Jason Kelce has fond memories of the standout day that he first met his brother Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The 37-year-old retired NFL star discussed the headline-making moment on the Wednesday, July 23 episode of the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast.

The discussion began when the brothers watched an impressive video of a man creating a lawn art display of a shirtless Jason screaming while holding a beer. The image came from the moment Jason attended Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 21, 2024.

During the game, Jason ripped his shirt off in the private box, let out a yell and jumped into the stands as the crowd cheered.

“Do you understand how proud I am to be the reason that you did this ridiculous pose?” Travis asked his brother. “I feel so seen. This is what my dream was always to make human beings do.”

Jason assured his brother that his reaction was the combined result of his excitement over Travis’ performance “combined with drinking for an entire six hours with Bill’s Mafia before the game got me real excited.”

The father of four called it “a f—— really fun day,” adding, “The first time I met your girlfriend, so that was, it was an all timer.”

In photos from the game, Taylor is seen sitting next to Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, in front of Jason in the private box.

Jason previously shared that his wife, Kylie Kelce, wasn’t happy with his decision to ditch his shirt at the time.

“I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you,” Jason admitted in a January 2024 episode of New Heights. “I gave Kylie a heads-up the moment we got into the suite. And she said, ‘Jason don’t you dare.’ ”

He also added that Kylie was “already telling me to be on my best behavior cause we were meeting Taylor” and remembered telling her “Kylie, when I met you, the first day I met you I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the charm. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm.”

Jason also remembered telling Kylie that he was “not asking for permission” at the time and Travis added, “Once a Kelce man’s determined, there’s no f—— stopping him.”

Kylie recalled the moment on her Not Gonna Lie podcast in February 2025, saying their 4-year-old daughter Elliotte asked “something along the lines of ‘Why are Dad’s boobs out?’ “

As for Travis and Taylor, the couple has been together since mid-2023. Since then, the “Enchanted” singer has spent a good amount of time with the Kelce family. She’s even met Jason and Kylie’s newest addition — their infant daughter Finnley, who was born March 30.

“She has. We were fortunate to have them all [visit],” Jason told Entertainment Tonight in May. “It doesn’t happen often, everybody’s busy. But it was really special.”
