Brittany Mahomes’ heartfelt tribute reveals unseen side of Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes

NFL fans see plenty of their favorite players on the field, and social media allows us to get more of a glimpse into their personal lives. This is the case for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who fans can not only keep up with on his own social media, but also on his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and what she posts.

Recently, Brittany posted a heartfelt message to her husband on Instagram on Father’s Day weekend, calling him the rock of their family and praising him for making their three kids feel special.

Included in the post were eight photos, starting off with a nice, professionally done photo of the five of them. The rest of the pictures were just photos of Patrick with the kids.

“Happy Father’s Day to our rock! The most incredible, loyal most fun dad everrrrrr! The way you love us is unmatched! You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you 🤍” Brittany wrote as the caption with the post.

Patrick and Brittany have been together since they were in high school, and they stayed together in college despite attending different schools.

The two got engaged in 2020, which was also the same year that Patrick won his first Super Bowl (and the Chiefs’ first Super Bowl title in 50 years), and not long after, the couple announced that she was pregnant with their first child.

Their oldest child, Sterling, was born in February 2021. This came weeks after Patrick appeared in his second Super Bowl (but lost). The couple wed in the 2022 NFL offseason, tying the knot in March 2022 and announcing she was pregnant with their second child shortly after.

Their second child, Patrick Mahomes III (nicknamed Bronze), was born in November 2022, and their third child, Golden, was born in January 2025.

It’s great to see Patrick thrive not just on the field, leading Kansas City to three Super Bowl titles (and five total appearances in the big game), but off the field as well. Sports aren’t everything, and it’s good to see that Patrick has his priorities in order.
