Stephen Curry, Jalen Brunson Put in Laughable Conversation by a Former NFL Star

Sixers' Jared McCain using Steph Curry, Jalen Brunson as influencesGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry suffered an unfortunate end to his season when he left Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals with a hamstring injury. There was a belief and hope that Curry could have returned if the series had gone to Game 6, but they fell short.

As for the Knicks, they fell to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals in a tough-fought series. The Pacers seemed to bother Brunson down the stretch of the series. His frustration visibly boiled over when he headbutted Andrew Nembhard, John Starks style.

Stephen Curry, Jalen Brunson put in hilarious conversation

Curry and Brunson are two of the game’s best scorers in the league and expectations of them will continue to be high, even with Curry at age 37.

Former NFL player LeSean McCoy shared his controversial belief regarding Curry and Brunson on Fox Sports 1’s The Facility.

“This might not be popular because I’m a Steph Curry fan, but I would say, one on one, I think Brunson scores better than Steph one on one,” said McCoy.

While Brunson is more of a threat to blow by his defender, often drawing contact, Curry remains the best shooter in the game, both currently and all-time. Curry’s quick release gives him the capability of hitting a quick step-back in almost any defender’s face.

It remains to be seen what kind of moves the Warriors make to bolster their roster in the offseason. They have Jonathan Kuminga, who could be used in a sign-and-trade to acquire someone to anchor the defense, as size was a concern for them throughout the playoffs.

The offseason moves will be quite telling, as the Warriors will head into next season with a “championship or bust” mentality. It could prove to be a last-dance scenario, as Curry will be 38 years old after next season, and Steve Kerr won’t be under contract unless an extension is signed between now and then.
