Chiefs React to Patrick Mahomes’ Personal Decision Amid Offseason

Patrick Mahomes is heading into his ninth season with the Kansas City Chiefs, looking to add to his already incredible resume.

Mahomes has already established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, earning three Super Bowl titles with the Chiefs.

As he searches for another Super Bowl title, Mahomes also has made some big moves outside the white lines.

During the offseason, after leading the Chiefs to a 17-3 record with playoff wins over the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills, Mahomes gathered several current and former NFL stars for the Vegas Golf Classic.

Mahomes hosted a golf tournament during the offseason, presented by the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

After the charity event, which featured Jamaal Charles, Von Miller and several other stars, the Chiefs posted their reaction, showing high praise for Mahomes and his charitable efforts.

“Patrick recently hosted the annual @15andmahomies Vegas Golf Classic, helping raise money for the foundation’s charitable efforts with a golf tournament and gala ⛳️,” posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes has been hosting events and preparing various charitable moves since 2019, when he founded the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

According to the official 15 and the Mahomies Foundation mission statement, they are “dedicated to improving the lives of children.” The foundation also “supports initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes.”

Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes had yet another solid year, posting 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5 percent of his pass attempts.
