Warriors Send Two-Word Message After Historic Draymond Green News

Hậu vệ Stephen Curry và tiền đạo Draymond Green của Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors now have to turn to Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler to carry the load in the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Golden State defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the series, despite dealing with the loss of Stephen Curry, who was ruled out of the game with a hamstring injury.

Now, Curry is ruled out for Game 2 and it’s all on Green and Butler to lead the Warriors over the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

Before Game 2, Golden State posted a historic feat by Green.

According to the Warriors, “Draymond Green joins LeBron James and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players in NBA history to rank in the Top 25 all-time in playoff steals, rebounds and blocks.

“Historic company,” posted the official social media account of the Golden State Warriors. https://twitter.com/warriors/status/1920325284160758124?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1920325284160758124%7Ctwgr%5Eb6e3b30955671c323b9a9ff740b7efa3319760bd%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fathlonsports.com%2Fnba%2Fgolden-state-warriors%2Fwarriors-send-two-word-message-after-historic-draymond-green-news

So far this season, Draymond Green has averaged 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

In the Golden State Warriors’ Game 1 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Green recorded 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists. The finalist for the Defensive Player of the Year award also posted two steals in the win over Minnesota.

Curry, who was sidelined with a hamstring injury, finished the game with 13 points, one rebound and one assist in 13 minutes

Green and the Warriors will be back on the court on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Golden State entered the NBA playoffs as the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference standings. If the Warriors were to defeat the Timberwolves in the second round, they would play the winner of the matchup between the Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.
