Roy Keane has said that Tottenham defender is ‘almost like a League Two player’ in one key area as he criticised the Tottenham star’s all-round performance against GALATASARAY .
He missed the ball when attempting to connect with a rebound from a late City corner, in what was an extremely rare off day in front of goal for the prolific defender.
Victor Osimhen scored his second goal of the match to help Galatasaray take a 3-1 half-time lead against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
The two sides exchanged early strikes thanks to a Yunus Akgun screamer and Will Lankshear’s first-ever senior goal.
But from there, Osimhen took control of the match.
The Nigeria international had a goal disallowed for offside on the half-hour mark but moments later netted a goal that stood, profiting from some dreadful Radu Dragusin defending to beat Fraser Forster one-on-one.
And just eight minutes later, Osimhen doubled Galatasaray’s advantage, again with the help of Dragusin.
The Romanian defender — along with full-back Pedro Porro — completely lost Osimhen, who positioned himself between his two opponents to poke home a beautiful cross from Dries Mertens.

Spurs’ defending didn’t go down well with Spurs icon Glenn Hoddle, who was watching on as a commentator for TNT Sports.

“They are living dangerously, Spurs,” said Hoddle (via BBC Sport).
“Victor Osimhen is in between two defenders and it was a little cushion finish. He doesn’t go for power, but he cushions it into the corner.”
Spurs went into Thursday’s match with a 100% record in this season’s Europa League but now face an uphill battle to even take a point in front of a raucous Istanbul crowd.
However, the visitors kept crumbling under the intense pressure from the raucous home support, who whistled furiously in an attempt to tease out mistakes.
Errors continued to plague the inexperienced Spurs side – which had had seven changes made to it after Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Aston Villa – as their insistence on playing out from the back had them punished twice, but it really should have been more.
The north London outfit slip down to fifth in the league table with the defeat, and they will need to dust themselves down quickly with tricky tests against Roma and Rangers coming thick and fast.
