Taylor Swift continues to make waves even though she’s taking a break from the public alongside boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Recently, she caught the attention of her legion of fans after her management announced the release of the vinyl version of her song “Fortnight” for Record Store Day 2025.
Prior to that, she had been on the headlines after reportedly taking a vacation with Kelce and going on a couple of dates with the Chiefs tight end in New York and Utah.
Of course not everything has been positive for Swift, especially since she has been involved in some controversy as of late, such as the Blake Lively legal drama and the recent Kanye West issue.
Overall, though, the positives have outweighed the negative buzz surrounding her.
In fact, more recently, the UK Charts—formally known as the Official Charts—announced that her “The Tortured Poets Department” album has been “officially named the Official fastest-selling vinyl album of the decade.”
What stood out to the UK Charts’ revelation is how it described Swift, even calling her the “most famous musician in a single era only comparable to the likes of The Beatles, Elvis or Michael Jackson at their height.”
Sure enough, the high praise quickly caught the attention of Swifties, with many agreeing to the claim and showing their love for the pop star.
“She is her because of her fans. She stayed true to herself and treated her fans fairly. She deserves the title!” a fan wrote. Another Swiftie said, “I know thats right.”
“That’s why I laugh when the other fanbases want to talk [expletive] about her. They’re not even in the same league as hers, her impact is amazing,” a supporter shared.
A commenter added, “The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Madonna, Mariah, Whitney, et al are her ‘peers’ when it comes to success. Not whoever else is out there today.”
“Only Comparable to The Beatles, Elvis, or Michael Jackson at Their Height!” a social media user repeated.
A sixth poster defended Swift from the critics and tried to make sense why people are hating on her despite her success and influence in the music industry: “the only reason people deny her hugeness is because she’s a woman who is self-made and apparently that’s threatening.”
Indeed, it has been a huge past couple of months for Swift, as she finds success both personally and professionally. Despite the controversies she’s being dragged into, it’s clear that nothing has slowed her down from reaching new heights.
