🔥 TRADE ALERT: Are the Warriors about to add a $27 million dynamic forward to their roster following the Seth Curry signing — a move insiders say could instantly reshape their championship window and send shockwaves through the league?..ll : Read more 👇👇👇

Warriors Coach Steve Kerr Does Not Hold Back on Steph Curry's Performance vs. Rockets - Athlon Sports

After Seth Curry officially signed with the Golden State Warriors, the team’s roster is a bit more dynamic. He had a great debut with the team despite the loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. Curry had 14 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

If Seth can be half the sharpshooter they need him to be, then Buddy Hield may become expendable. This is where things become interesting for the Warriors, as they may be able to improve their rotation.

What they really need is another defensive-minded wing, and Peter O’Keefe of Blue Man Hoop thinks their dream target is right in front of them.

“(Naji) Marshall has averaged 12.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 26.9 minutes for the Mavericks this season, having averaged very similar numbers in his first year with the team,” O’Keefe said Monday.

“Steve Kerr’s propensity to remain small means the Warriors should probably avoid big men unless they’re a guaranteed 30-minute per game starter. That leaves the forward spots as an obvious area to address, with Naji Marshall presenting as a sneaky good trade target for the franchise on an affordable contract and as someone who could become available given the struggles of the Dallas Mavericks.

Naji Marshall is a 6-foot-6 slashing forward who excels on the defensive end of the ball. Although he doesn’t fit the mold of phenomenal three-point shooters the Warriors lean towards, he is a great inside scorer and offers switchability on defense.

He becomes even more of an addition when you realize that De’Anthony Melton will soon return to the Warriors’ rotation, making Hield borderline useless to this team. Unless the Warriors are planning on packaging Buddy Hield with Jonathan Kuminga’s hefty contract when he becomes trade-eligible, Marshall will continue to prove he would be perfect for this Warriors team.
