The Kansas City Chiefs were having a great night on Monday Night Football.
So was Isiah Pacheco, who has finally started to hit his stride.
Momentarily, though, things looked bad.
Pacheco took a big hit to his right knee on a fourth quarter carry, and he exited the game.
Trainers examined Pacheco’s possible injury on the sideline.
There was good news soon, though.
The trainers started laughing, and Pacheco got up and started clapping his hands.
The momentary scare seemed to be a non-issue.
The Chiefs likely had no reason to sub Pacheco back in with a 28-7 lead late. He’ll probably rest up.
It’s a big game next week for the Chiefs. They take on AFC rival Buffalo in a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff against the Bills.
They’ll need Pacheco for that one.
And after a quick scare, it seems like Pacheco will be OK.MORE: Jonathan Taylor’s MVP case has recent NFL history working against him
