\u201cIt will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,\u201d the source explained. \u201cThey both have a close circle of friends, and they\u2019ll respect their privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The choice comes after a source told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>in April that the pair was trying to keep their love life more to themselves after being highly visible in their first year of dating. \u201cTaylor and Travis have learned that so much attention on their relationship is not the best thing,\u201d that source said.<\/p>\n

An insider echoed that sentiment in June, telling\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0\u201cThey are making fewer public appearances together because [their relationship] brings too much unwanted attention.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Swift and Kelce didn\u2019t immediately announce their engagement either. They waited a little bit, although they told their inner circle shortly after, a source told\u00a0People<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>on September 4. \u201cTaylor and Travis\u2019s friends are thrilled for them, and a lot of them found out about the engagement right after it happened,\u201d the source explained. \u201cKeeping it quiet wasn\u2019t easy but now that it\u2019s out, everyone\u2019s just excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

A day later, the insider\u00a0revealed<\/a>\u00a0that Kelce and Swift\u2019s loved ones feel they are a good match. \u201cTheir friends feel like they bring out the best in each other, and the people close to them are glad it\u2019s out in the open,\u201d the insider said. \u201cEveryone thinks they make a great couple, and it\u2019s been awesome to see how they\u2019ve made time for each other despite their busy schedules.\u201d<\/p>\n
