During the BIG3 championship game, Mario Chalmers delivered the game winner for Miami 305 to beat the Chicago Triplets,\u00a052-48<\/a>. The former\u00a0Miami Heat<\/a>\u00a0guard \u2014 who played alongside Wade from 2008 to 2015 and won two championships with him \u2014 drained a triple to cap off a 9-0 run for the title.<\/p>\n

While Chalmers only had five points in the game, there\u2019s no denying his clutch shot was the most important one.<\/p>\n

Michael Beasley led the scoring for Miami 305 with 25 points along with 12 rebounds, while Lance Stephenson had 14 points and nine boards. Meanwhile, Montrezl Harrell had 16 points in a losing effort for the Chicago Triplets.<\/p>\n

Dwyane Wade Was Hyped!<\/h2>\n

Wade, for his part, was tuned in during the BIG3 championship and was quick to react after witnessing Chalmers seal the deal for Miami 305.<\/p>\n

On his Instagram Stories, the Heat icon shared a video of Chalmers\u2019 clutch play and\u00a0wrote<\/a>, \u201c\u201dTHATS WHAT HE DO! Mario [expletive] charmers!\u201d<\/p>\n

Sure enough, it\u2019s not only Wade who was impressed by Chalmers\u2019 play. Fans also took to the comment section of CBS Sports\u2019 video to show their excitement for Chalmers and his new Miami team.<\/p>\n

\u201cPut some respect on his name bro is clutch,\u201d a\u00a0fan said<\/a>\u00a0of Chalmers. A\u00a0commenter added<\/a>, \u201cThat man just has a the clutch gene.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBeasley and Chalmers on the same team is something special,\u201d a\u00a0supporter remarked<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Can Mario Chalmers Continue Winning?<\/h2>\n

For what it\u2019s worth, many viewers also took notice how Chalmers has won at every level of basketball.<\/p>\n

As Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported, the 39-year-old Chalmers\u00a0won two championships<\/a>\u00a0in high school in Alaska (2002 and 2003), an NCAA title with Kansas (2008), two NBA titles with the Heat (2012 and 2013), the FIBA Champions League in 2019 with Italy\u2019s Virtus Bologna and now in the BIG3.<\/p>\n

Chalmers\u2019 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds remaining in the 2008 NCAA title game against the Memphis Tigers tied the game and sent it to overtime, where the Jayhawks took control.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot the first time he\u2019s done that. Won the 2008 championship for Kansas with a 3 pointer. Used to tell Lebron and DWade he was the best shot on the team,\u201d a\u00a0social media user wrote<\/a>. Another\u00a0one said<\/a>, \u201cMario Chalmers always been a winner Kansas, Miami Heat, and now in the Big 3.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWinner at every level,\u201d a\u00a0poster noted<\/a>. A fourth\u00a0X user echoed a similar sentiment<\/a>, noting, \u201cDude has won a championship at every level.\u201d<\/p>\n

It will definitely be interesting to see where Chalmers will play next, but considering his track record, it\u2019s safe to expect him to always go for the title.<\/p>\n
