At just 22 years old,\u00a0Livvy Dunne\u00a0has already lived a lifetime of discipline, grace and grit.<\/p>\n

After retiring from gymnastics \u2014 a sport she dedicated herself to since the age of three \u2013 she\u2019s stepping into a new chapter with a major collaboration alongside Fanatics Sportsbook.<\/p>\n

Just in time for\u00a0football season, the new broadcast and digital series,\u00a0Explained by Livvy Dunne<\/em>, kicks off with three cinematic ads aimed to stand out in the category. The series construct will continue this fall as part of a new Fanatics Casino campaign featuring an iconic male spokesperson.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve worked with Fanatics in the past, and honestly, at this point, it just kind of felt like a match made in heaven. They feel like family to me.\u201d Dunne tells PEOPLE exclusively.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMichael Rubin [CEO of Fanatics] is a really good friend, and I know that when he puts his all into something, I know it\u2019s going to be successful and be over the top and amazing. So it was honestly an honor to work with Fanatic Sportsbook.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although gymnastics was once her livelihood, Dunne is now exploring new ways to channel her love for\u00a0performance. She\u2019s discovered that creativity has become just as vital to her as competition once was.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m honestly just enjoying this new change,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019ve [also] discovered that I love performing. I love art, whether it\u2019s a floor routine or filming a commercial, I love to perform. I crave creativity, so that was something pretty cool that I learned.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Dunne experiments with new ways to express herself, she\u2019s also drawing strength from women she admires \u2014 none more so than Taylor Swift, who, like Dunne, is balancing life in the spotlight while dating a professional athlete.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s crazy to even think that I have something in common with Taylor Swift.\u00a0We\u2019re both dating professional athletes, and we both have passions of our own,\u201d says Dunne, whose boyfriend is professional baseball pitcher Paul Skenes. \u201cI look up to her in so many different ways, because you can\u2019t deny she\u2019s a badass businesswoman, and she hustles, and honestly, after the [New Heights<\/em>] podcast that just came out, like I felt very inspired listening to her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former LSU gymnast\u00a0confirmed her romance\u00a0with Skenes, 23, back in August 2023. Meanwhile, Swift has made headlines for\u00a0her relationship\u00a0with Kansas City Chiefs football star Travis Kelce, recently opening up about\u00a0the beginnings of their romance\u00a0on his podcast with his brother Jason.<\/p>\n

Following the episode\u2019s release, Dunne reshared one segment from the interview on her Instagram Stories in which Swift talked about shaking off the haters, noting how you should think of your energy like it\u2019s an expensive \u201cluxury item.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was truly inspiring to hear her story and how much she cares about everything she puts out there, and how it\u2019s so real and authentic to her,\u201d she adds of the \u201cBlank Space\u201d singer. \u201cShe inspires me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best part about social media is that you get to share as much or as little as you want,\u201d she adds. \u201cThere\u2019s always going to be people trying to tear you down when you\u2019re doing something, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[Taylor] was talking about how NFL fans will react when they see her on the screen. And I kind of feel the same way,\u201d she continues, referencing back to Swift\u2019s latest appearance on the\u00a0New Heights<\/em>\u00a0podcast. \u201cTaylor Swift is so right, like she\u2019s just staying true to herself.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis [Fanatics] commercial is something that I\u2019m proud of and that I worked on, and there\u2019s definitely going to be people that see it on TV during football season and want to tear me down or whatever, but it\u2019s something that I\u2019m really proud of,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs long as you\u2019re proud of what you put out there, and it feels authentic to you, think that\u2019s an accomplishment in itself, and if there\u2019s anyone tearing you down, that\u2019s somebody else\u2019s insecurity talking.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
