Manchester United fans can rest easy, Andre Onana will remain the club\u2019s first-choice goalkeeper for the entire 2025\/26 season despite recent speculation linking the Cameroonian shot-stopper with a move away from Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Sources close to the club have confirmed to Newspremises that reports suggesting United are pursuing Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain are unfounded. Manager R\u00faben Amorim is said to be fully confident in Onana\u2019s ability to lead from the back and has no plans to replace him this summer.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s Transfer Focus Lies Elsewhere<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Donnarumma\u2019s situation at PSG has deteriorated, the Italian goalkeeper was recently dropped from the squad amid a complete breakdown in relations with the French champions but, United\u2019s recruitment strategy is focused on strengthening their midfield rather than making changes in goal.<\/p>\n

In another major goalkeeping development, Ederson has reportedly agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, with a three-year deal running until 2028 worth over \u00a36 million per year plus bonuses.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian goalkeeper has already informed Pep Guardiola of his desire to leave, and the Turkish champions are in negotiations with City over a transfer fee.<\/p>\n
