Time to shake it off!\u00a0Kim Kardashian\u00a0and her eldest daughter,\u00a0North West, danced to one of\u00a0Taylor Swift\u2019s\u00a0catchy tunes in a new TikTok video, which they posted on Thursday, January 5.<\/p>\n

The 55-second clip\u00a0uploaded via their joint account shows the mother and daughter duo lip-syncing and dancing to<\/p>\n

The drama between Kardashian, 42, and Swift, 33, initially began due to the \u201cLover\u201d singer\u2019s spat with\u00a0Kanye West, Kardashian\u2019s ex-husband. In 2009, the \u201cHeartless\u201d artist, 45, famously crashed Swift\u2019s acceptance speech at the MTV Music Video Awards to say\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9\u00a0deserved the \u201cAll Too Well\u201d singer\u2019s award.<\/p>\n

The feud was reignited in February 2016 when West rapped in his track \u201cFamous\u201d that he \u201cmade that bitch famous,\u201d referring to Swift.<\/p>\n

Five months later, the Selfish author called out Swift on Snapchat and leaked a call she had with West, claiming that the \u201cLavender Haze\u201d singer lied about the conversation. While Swift appeared to give her blessing to include her name in the song, she later admitted that she was upset by West\u2019s use of the phrase \u201cthat bitch\u201d \u2014 which she said was never discussed.<\/p>\n

In August 2019, the\u00a0Cats\u00a0actress opened up about\u00a0feeling \u201chumiliated\u201d\u00a0after her feud with Kardashian.<\/p>\n

\u201cA mass public shaming, with millions of people saying you are quote-unquote canceled, is a very isolating experience,\u201d Swift recalled in an interview with\u00a0Vogue.\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t think there are that many people who can actually understand what it\u2019s like to have millions of people hate you very loudly. When you say someone is canceled, it\u2019s not a TV show. It\u2019s a human being. You\u2019re sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as, kill yourself.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Kardashian, for her part, had seemingly\u00a0moved on from her drama\u00a0with the Grammy winner. \u201cKim and Kanye are over it,\u201d a source told\u00a0Us Weekly\u00a0in September 2019. \u201cThey are dealing with their four kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

The drama resurfaced the following year when the\u00a0full version of Swift\u2019s leaked conversation\u00a0with the Chicago native was leaked. The\u00a0Amsterdam\u00a0star took to Instagram Stories to note that the new footage proved she \u201cwas telling the truth the whole time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The SKNN BY KIM founder, meanwhile,\u00a0tweeted: \u201c@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange \u2013 that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now,\u201d referring to the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Kardashian went on to\u00a0praises Swift\u2019s music\u00a0in December 2021. \u201cI really like a lot of her songs,\u201d the Skims founder said on the\u00a0\u201cHonestly with Bari Weiss\u201d\u00a0podcast when she was asked about her favorite Swift song. \u201cThey\u2019re all super cute and catchy.
