What started as a simple push quickly escalated, with Simmons throwing a punch at his fellow rookie.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The other man at the center of the scuffle, defensive end Ashton Gillotte, didn\u2019t back down. After practice, Gillotte set the tone for the defense: \u201cPads come on, and that\u2019s when real football starts. In Kansas City, we don\u2019t do soft. As a rookie, I learned quick \u2014 you either hit or get hit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Veterans like Travis Kelce stepped in to break up the fight before it could get further out of hand.
