He later worked as an NBA security employee from 2022 to 2025.<\/p>\n<p>While employed by the Heat, Perez had access to the equipment room and stole over 400 game-worn jerseys. He sold over 100 items for approximately $2million.<\/p>\n<p>The report claims that Perez would ship the products across state lines, often for prices well below market value.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A former Miami Heat employee has been charged with selling stolen memorabilia<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Among the stolen memorabilia was a game-worn jersey by LeBron James in the NBA Finals<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>One example provided was a LeBron James jersey worn during the NBA Finals, which he sold for $100,000.
