Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/a>\u00a0are gearing up for another\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0season, looking to avenge February\u2019s\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0loss to the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>. Now entering their ninth season as teammates, their friendship has grown well beyond football. Even their families have become close, with Kelce\u2019s girlfriend,\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/a>, often seen sitting in a suite at\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0games alongside Mahomes\u2019 wife, Brittany Mahomes.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0quarterback<\/a>-tight end duo has also entered into a business venture together, as they will soon open up a restaurant called 1587 Prime Steakhouse with hospitality group Noble 33. The restaurant is located in Kansas City and has a grand opening set for later this summer, before the 2025 NFL season begins.<\/p>\n

Donna Kelce\u2019s Feelings Towards It<\/h2>\n

Kelce\u2019s mother, Donna Kelce, visited Kansas City this past weekend to see her son at Chiefs training camp. While in town, she made her rounds across the city and even stopped by the front of 1587 Prime on Monday.<\/p>\n

The 72-year-old took to Facebook\u00a0to share her excitement<\/a>\u00a0ahead of the restaurant\u2019s grand opening.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan\u2019t wait for Patrick\u2019s & Travis\u2019 steakhouse to open in the first floor of Loew\u2019s hotel in Kansas City!!!\u201d Donna Kelce said.<\/p>\n

About 1587 Prime<\/h2>\n

The steakhouse takes its name from Mahomes and Kelce\u2019s jersey numbers\u201415 and 87. The space will span 10,000 square feet across two floors and will feature a meat display, private dining rooms, and an area dedicated to the two Chiefs players\u2019 accolades.<\/p>\n

When the restaurant concept was officially set in motion in March 2024,\u00a0Mahomes shared<\/a>, \u201cTravis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce echoed that excitement, saying, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own Kansas City,\u201d Kelce said in a statement.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
