Ange Postecoglou will be sacked by Tottenham if he cannot sort out the team\u2019s \u201chuge\u201d defensive flaws,\u00a0according to the club\u2019s former scout.<\/p>\n
Mick Brown, who also spent over a decade at Man United during their most successful period and remains very well-connected within the game, exclusively told Football Insider that the boss is under pressure after a poor run of form.<\/p>\n
This comes after\u00a0Football Insider\u00a0revealed that\u00a0the Tottenham hierarchy are expecting to qualify for the Champions League come the end of the season.<\/p>\n
Spurs are currently 10th in the Premier League after winning five, drawing one, and losing five of their opening 11 league games.<\/p>\n
A shock 2-1 defeat to Ipswich followed a 3-2 defeat away from home against Galatasaray, with Tottenham having now lost three of their last five games.<\/p>\n
As a result, Ange Postecoglou has faced some backlash following a lack of consistency on the pitch, with questions being asked about his side.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, despite admitting he expects the boss to stay in the job as things stand, Brown has insisted Tottenham must tighten up their defence if they want to be successful.<\/p>\n

However, Brown, who has a wealth of experience working closely with managers at the highest level including the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, insisted that<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you suffer a couple of shock results, you\u2019re going to be under pressure,\u201d he told\u00a0Football Insider.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think he\u2019s in any immediate danger, but they\u2019re far too inconsistent and that must be a concern.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you\u2019re winning games 3-2 or 4-3, everybody\u2019s happy as long as they\u2019re the ones with the four. If they\u2019re on the other side, it\u2019s not good enough.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey give far too many goals away and that\u2019s a huge flaw in their game.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn a good day, they can play teams off the park, but they concede goals for fun and that always puts you at risk of losing.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd that\u2019s something that has been a problem since he took over without much change.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery few games they give away silly goals and it\u2019s tough to take, that\u2019s why the manager is facing some pressure, because they won\u2019t change.<\/p>\n
