Hollywood, if you pass up this pitch, it\u2019ll be a big mistake \u2014 huge.<\/p>\n
Travis Kelce\u00a0and\u00a0Jason Kelce\u00a0had some fun during the season finale of their\u00a0New Heights<\/em>\u00a0podcast on Wednesday, July 23, as they reviewed the 1990\u00a0Julia Roberts\u00a0classic\u00a0Pretty Woman<\/em>.<\/p>\n The athlete brothers were impressed by the iconic film costarring\u00a0Richard Gere, giving it high ratings in nearly all of their categories. But when the time came to give the movie a \u201cfeminism score,\u201d they struggled to come up with a number.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the only way to gauge it is to flip the script,\u201d explained Travis, 35. \u201cI think we need to make\u00a0Pretty Man<\/em>. And we need to have a CEO billionaire woman be so high class that she doesn\u2019t know where she\u2019s going. She doesn\u2019t know how to drive a car.\u201d<\/p>\n Jason, 37, chimed in with the perfect note, saying, \u201cTravis, you\u2019re living\u00a0Pretty Man<\/em>\u00a0right now. You are pretty man. You\u2019re living your own Julia Roberts straight down.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis, who has been dating pop star\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0since 2023, burst out laughing and jokingly added, \u201cI\u2019m wearing nothing but a tie when Taylor comes home.\u201d<\/p>\n Travis\u00a0met Roberts, 57, at a Dublin\u00a0stop on Swift\u2019s Eras Tour in June 2024, and he joked about the encounter on Wednesday\u2019s podcast episode.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s why me and Julia Roberts \u2014 when I met Julia \u2014 it felt like we were the same person, so cool,\u201d Travis quipped. \u201cShe spoke to me in this movie.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued the bit, \u201cAll right. Now it\u2019s all I\u2019m doing. I\u2019m just the NFL stripper. That\u2019s it. Just an NFL hooker, man.\u201d<\/p>\n Pretty Woman<\/em>\u00a0follows wealthy businessman Edward Lewis (Gere, 75) who falls for prostitute Vivian Ward (Roberts) and brings her into his world. The role earned Roberts an\u00a0Oscar\u00a0nomination.<\/p>\n And Jason was particularly complimentary of Roberts\u2019 performance in the\u00a0Garry Marshall\u00a0film.<\/p>\n \u201cI say this being a very happily married man,\u201d said the retired NFL star, who\u00a0shares four children\u00a0with wife\u00a0Kylie Kelce. \u201cThat [Roberts] is a pretty woman in this movie. I mean, and she kills it. The acting is great.
