In yet another move that proves the Kansas City Chiefs<\/strong> are playing 4D chess while the rest of the NFL is still drawing X\u2019s and O\u2019s, team owner Clark Hunt<\/strong> has reportedly acquired the entire Canadian Football League (CFL)<\/strong> \u2014 and plans to rebrand it as the \u201cChiefs Junior Varsity.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcb8 A $1.2 Billion Power Play<\/h2>\n

The shocking acquisition reportedly cost just under $1.2 billion<\/strong>, or, as Patrick Mahomes called it, \u201cone and a half backup tight ends.\u201d Sources say Hunt\u2019s motivation was simple:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe needed somewhere to park our second-stringers while they wait to become legends.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Beginning next season, all CFL teams will be rebranded as mini-Chiefs franchises<\/strong>, complete with new names like:<\/p>\n

    The move gives Kansas City full control over year-round player development<\/strong>, with plans to rotate rookies, practice squad members, and even veteran rehab cases through the newly dubbed CFFL: Chiefs Feeder Football League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \u201cEvery other team uses training camp,\u201d said head coach Andy Reid. \u201cWe use Canada.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
