Travis Kelce has been spending a lot of time with girlfriend Taylor Swift as he prepares for the 2025 NFL season. That includes both the good and the\u00a0bad\u00a0times:<\/p>\n

As the couple has grown closer, they\u2019ve become each other\u2019s biggest supporters.\u00a0Taylor Swift revealed that her father, Scott Swift, recently had a serious health scare<\/b>, and Kelce was right by her side<\/em><\/p>\n

Scott Swift, 73 years old, recently underwent\u00a0quintuple bypass heart surgery\u00a0<\/b>after a doctor identified concerns during a routine checkup. The surgery was preventive, not prompted by a heart attack. Still, it\u2019s an extremely serious procedure.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thankfully, according to a Rolling Stone spokesperson,\u00a0Scott is now \u201cdoing fantastic.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0Swift, her brother Austin, and her mother Andrea have been closely supporting him through recovery.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This isn\u2019t the first health challenge for Swift\u2019s family \u2013\u00a0both her parents have previously battled cancer<\/b>, a topic she\u2019s addressed publicly in the past.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had to learn how to handle serious illness in my family,\u201d Swift said back in 2019. \u201cIt\u2019s taught me that\u00a0there are real problems and then there\u2019s everything else<\/b>. My mom\u2019s cancer is a real problem. I used to be so anxious about daily ups and downs. I give all of my worry, stress, and prayers to real problems now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
