Al Horford has not joined the Golden State Warriors, but the Boston Celtics center has fans among their players. Steph Curry praised Horford while talking with\u00a0The Athletic’s Anthony Slater<\/a>\u00a0last Thursday, though he understandably kept it brief because the two still aren’t technically teammates.<\/p>\n “He\u2019s a champion, great player. When\u2026if, when all that stuff happens, I\u2019ll talk about it,” Curry said about Horford while talking to Slater.<\/p>\n Rumors have linked Horford to the Warriors, but free agency started on June 30, and he remains unsigned. Golden State makes sense, as they lost Kevon Looney, their longest-tenured player on the roster outside of Curry and Draymond Green, so they need a new starting center.<\/p>\n Marc Stein revealed the latest on Horford during his appearance on\u00a095.7’s The Game’s Willard & Dibs<\/a>.
