<\/p>\nThe Los Angeles Dodgers are appreciating every moment of Clayton Kershaw\u2019s brilliance this season.<\/p>\n
From his first start since being activated from the injured list to his 3,000th strikeout, the uncertainty of 2025 makes for that much more reason to cherish each moment from the southpaw.<\/p>\n

Kershaw spoke to the Orange County Register\u2019s Bill Plunkett about the night he joined the 3,000 strikeout club, but also about how much more lies ahead for both him and his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot to be not appreciative of moments like because that was a really special night in L.A. I wouldn\u2019t change anything that that night was. <\/em><\/p>\n That was so special,\u201d Kershaw said. \u201cBut I don\u2019t know what is going to happen in the future. I really have no idea when it comes to the years beyond this one. So I\u2019m just trying to enjoy it, be part of a really good team this year. We still have a lot to accomplish. We still have October. It\u2019s really hard to look at stuff individually when you\u2019re trying to accomplish something as a team.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cMaybe when it\u2019s all said and done I\u2019ll look back. I\u2019m not a big look-back guy. Just enjoy where you\u2019re at.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n After another milestone \u2014 receiving his 11th All-Star nod, this time by way of the Commissioner\u2019s Legend Pick \u2014the MVP touched on the unique nature of how he got to Atlanta, but once again appreciating the accomplishments that this season holds.<\/p>\n \u201cYou never take for granted getting to go to an All-Star Game, regardless of the circumstances,\u201d he said. \u201cObviously, I don\u2019t deserve to get to go this season. Haven\u2019t pitched very much. But everything that it encompasses to go to an All-Star Game, I get to take my family \u2013 I\u2019ll never pass up that opportunity.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The appreciation for the 37-year-old and the celebration of all that he is still accomplishing won\u2019t make a potential farewell any easier, but focusing on his current productivity and dedication to getting back to October is something that will be remembered for years to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Los Angeles Dodgers are appreciating every moment of Clayton Kershaw\u2019s brilliance this season.
