The Miami Heat’s pivotal 3-team trade to land ex-Los Angeles Clippers star Norman Powell on Monday provided the team with a desperately-needed offensive punch.<\/p>\n

While the 32-year-old 21.8-point scorer has been viewed as a marvelous addition by the Heat’s team president Pat Riley and the rest of the front office, the market for another scoring Heat guard has unfortunately ceased to exist.<\/p>\n

The Heat could gain recognition as surprise winners of the 2025 offseason after landing Powell and selecting University of Illinois product Kasparas Jaku\u010dionis with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, but Terry Rozier’s continued presence resembles that of a massive storm cloud hanging over the franchise.<\/p>\n

Despite the organization’s best efforts, recent reports from\u00a0Forbes’ Evan Sidery<\/a>\u00a0indicate that the Heat have struggled to locate a trade suitor for the declining guard.<\/p>\n
