The second season of \u201cQuarterback\u201d is officially back on Netflix and NFL fans will be able to follow along the journeys of quarterbacks Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, and Kirk Cousins. All of them have had interesting journeys the past year, especially Cousins. This is a chance for fans to see behind-the-scenes involving these quarterbacks and quite frankly, it\u2019s pretty awesome to see.<\/p>\n
While I\u2019m sure Buffalo Bills fans would love to see Josh Allen in front of the camera, Allen tends to stay quiet so the likelihood of him being on this kind of show is slim. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.<\/p>\n
Out of these three quarterbacks on the show, a lot of people would say that Burrow is the best one. If he had a defense that would actually make a stop last season, Burrow and the Bengals would have easily been Super Bowl favorites because of what he was doing for Cincinnati\u2019s offense.<\/p>\n
At the same time, like any other quarterback, Burrow has his flaws. He\u2019s not perfect, but he is one of the best. However, is he the best? Well, in a recent clip of the series, there was a clip where after the Chiefs defeated the Bengals in Week 2 by a score of 26-25, Chiefs\u2019 defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo went up to Burrow after the game and said \u201cOther than our guy [Patrick Mahomes], you are the best in the business.\u201d<\/p>\n #Chiefs DC Steve Spagnuolo to Bengals QB Joe Burrow after last year’s game: “Other than our guy, you are the best in the business.”<\/p>\n (via ‘Quarterback’ on Netflix)pic.twitter.com\/Efe4najsSp<\/p>\n<\/div>\n https:\/\/twitter.com\/MySportsUpdate\/status\/1942687563656855581?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n Now granted, I\u2019m not saying that Burrow isn\u2019t one of the best in the business because he truly is. However, for Spagnuolo to say this to Burrow it shows that outside of Mahomes, he believes that Burrow is better than quarterbacks like Josh Allen and even Lamar Jackson.<\/p>\n Allen is the better athlete with a more powerful arm with less wide receiver talent than Burrow. It\u2019s easy to be one of the top quarterbacks when you have arguably the best wide receiver duo in the game with Ja\u2019Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Allen went through last season without a true No. 1 receiver and he tore apart defenses in front of him (hence why he rightfully earned the MVP award<\/em>).<\/p>\n I guess Spagnuolo forgot about the times where Allen made the Chiefs defense look absolutely silly and embarrass them at times.
