Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce thinks Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter will have a tough time in 2025.<\/div>\n

The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0will face the\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>\u00a0in 2025, and that means the AFC champs will get to see rookie\u00a0Travis Hunter<\/a>\u00a0strut his stuff.<\/p>\n

Seen as a star receiver and corner, Hunter is expected to play both positions in his rookie season, as he did with Colorado last year in college.<\/p>\n

But as we know, the\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0is a different beast, and Chiefs tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>, who was speaking on the Bussin With The Boys podcast, thinks Hunter is going to have a tough time playing both positions. …<\/p>\n

And he is offering an ominous warning in the form of a scouting report.<\/p>\n

\u201cSee, that\u2019s the thing,”\u00a0Kelce said<\/a>. “I don\u2019t know how they\u2019re going to divvy it out. I don\u2019t know because teams are going to be going after him. They\u2019re going to try and make his day miserable.”<\/p>\n

\u201cDude, if he plays corner, they\u2019re just going to run deep balls at him all day … the wide receivers just take off on him all day. Just to try to get him tired. Why wouldn\u2019t you just attack him that way?\u201d<\/p>\n

So it is clear Kelce has a clear picture of what NFL offenses are going to do with Hunter, and that is just on the defensive side. Hunter will then have to play receiver, too.<\/p>\n

Most think Hunter will have to pick a position and “major” in it, while moonlighting the other, but there doesn’t seem to be a world where the rookie can play both full-time, at least at the NFL level.<\/p>\n
