Patrick Mahomes was just looking forward to playing golf. Rather, he was caught up in an\u00a0awkward\u00a0dad moment that has now gone viral:<\/p>\n

When a kid asked him for an autograph, the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0star was playing in the 2023 American Century Championship. Mahomes turned the request down, citing tournament rules, but the kid\u2019s father didn\u2019t take it well.<\/em><\/p>\n

A video of the uncomfortable exchange resurfaced in 2025 and quickly picked up steam across social media. Fans watched the clip in disbelief as the dad pushed back at the\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0champ, right on the course.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mahomes explained to fans that he had been told to slow down on autograph signings because it affected the pace of play<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey told me I can\u2019t do anymore\u2026 I was signing stuff, and they said I was taking too long,\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Mahomes told the group nearby.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
