The\u00a0Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>\u00a0lost to the\u00a0Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u00a0in the 2015\u00a0NBA<\/a>\u00a0Finals in six games despite\u00a0LeBron James<\/a>\u00a0averaging\u00a035.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 blocks in the series.<\/p>\n

Kyrie Irving<\/a>\u00a0fractured\u00a0his left kneecap in Game 1 and missed the rest of the series.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kevin Love missed the entire Cavaliers-Warriors series after\u00a0dislocating his left shoulder in the first round of the 2015 playoffs against the\u00a0Boston Celtics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

James did everything he could to lead Cleveland past Golden State, but the leading scorer in NBA history came up short.<\/p>\n

A future Hall of Famer, James played through a well-documented back injury during the 2014-15 season.\u00a0While it was reported that James didn’t have surgery, his former Cleveland teammate, Iman Shumpert, recently said he “believes” James had “some back operation” after the 2015 NBA Finals.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t remember what LeBron\u2019s issue was, but I believe he went and got some back operation after that before the next season,\u201d Shumpert\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0on the Hoop Collective on Monday.<\/p>\n
