Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0has done it all in his\u00a0 12 years in the league, and for most, he doesn’t have anything left to prove…but he feels differently.<\/p>\n

After a 2024 season that saw him post “just” 823 yards and three touchdowns, both of which were his lowest totals since his rookie season, Travis decided to come back for a 13th year. He couldn’t end it like that.<\/p>\n

With the future Hall of Famer dropping some weight this offseason and being full-go at minicamp, he has hit the ground running for the revenge tour of 2025.<\/p>\n

However, there was a time when he considered walking away.<\/p>\n

“I know I’m getting older, but at the same time, I still feel like I have a lot that I can prove in this league,”\u00a0Kelce said<\/a>. “With that being said, it really wasn’t that hard of a decision for me.”<\/p>\n

Kelce’s legacy is already etched in stone as one of, if not the best, tight end to ever play in the\u00a0NFL<\/a>, but the\u00a0Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0loss, plus how he performed throughout the year and in the postseason, left a sour taste in his mouth.<\/p>\n

Now, with renewed vigor and motivation to bounce back in the way many know he can, Kelce looks set again to be\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/a>‘ go-to guy in big moments.<\/p>\n
