He didn&#8217;t break in with the team back then, also participating in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atozsports.com\/new-orleans\/\">New Orleans Saints<\/a>\u00a0rookie minicamp. He played both center and left guard during his time at South Dakota, earning Second-Team All-American honors in 2024, First-Team All-MVFC honors in 2024, and Second-Team All-MVFC honors in 2023. He was an alternate team captain as a senior in 2024, as well.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"m-in-content-ad-row l-inline mm-in-content-ad-row--in-content not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\">\n<div class=\"m-in-content-ad not-size-a not-size-b not-size-d\" data-ad-group=\"in_content-1\" data-zone-count=\"2\">\n<div data-google-query-id=\"CInVwJTN_40DFZ7IFgUdIAE6lg\" data-ad-size=\"adhesion\">\n<p>The Chiefs have some need for depth on the interior offensive line, especially losing a perennial All-Pro like Joe Thuney who provided stability at the left guard position.
