\u201cI\u2019ve had a couple of Miami fans in my life that are furious that I wanted to blow up the Heat,\u201d Simmons said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like why? You guys are going to go 42-40 for the next five years. You\u2019re gonna pay Tyler Herro $55M a year?\u201d<\/p>\n

Simmons\u2019 comments come in the wake of another disappointing postseason for Miami. Herro is set to make $31 million in 2025\u201326 and $33 million in 2026\u201327. He becomes extension-eligible this October, with the potential to sign a three-year, $149.7 million deal.
