NBA<\/a>\u00a0trade rumors have been flying around the sports media world over the past few weeks with some of the league’s biggest stars.<\/p>\n

Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kevin Durant<\/a>\u00a0are two of the biggest players in the NBA, and both former champions are now on the trade block, ready for their next step in their careers.<\/p>\n

On ESPN’s First Take<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0Stephen A. Smith<\/a>, he gave his ‘A-List’ of top five destinations for the two stars.<\/p>\n

While the\u00a0Miami Heat<\/a>\u00a0were not his top choice, they were listed as top destinations for both Antetokounmpo and Durant. They were No. 4 and No. 5 on Smith’s list, respectively.<\/p>\n

Durant’s top five were the\u00a0New York Knicks<\/a>,\u00a0Houston Rockets<\/a>,\u00a0Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>,\u00a0Detroit Pistons<\/a>, and the Heat. For Antetokounmpo, Smith lists the Knicks, Rockets,\u00a0Dallas Mavericks<\/a>, Heat, and\u00a0Boston Celtics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As a Knicks fan, Smith listed them as the No. 1 destination for both stars, as seems to be a common theme for most free agents or trade targets in the NBA.<\/p>\n

A big market team however would not be surprising for either superstar, so teams like the Knicks, Heat, and Celtics would all make sense.<\/p>\n

Regardless of where the two superstars end up, and if it does wind up being the Heat, it will come at a hefty price. Any opportunity to trade for a player of this talent must be taken into consideration, and may have to part ways with a plethora of young talent and draft picks.<\/p>\n

With the NBA Finals in play and the 2025 NBA Draft coming up, a trade for one, if not both stars, may be coming within the next month<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
