Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester United are laying plans to recruit flourishing Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Red Devils are on the verge of signing Wolverhampton attacker Matheus Cunha who will be the club\u2019s first summer reinforcement.<\/p>\n

INEOS have already struck an agreement with the player on personal terms, and are now working on activating the Brazilian\u2019s release clause, which is worth \u00a362.5 million.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Romano had previously revealed that Cunha might not be United\u2019s solitary addition for the attacking department, as the club could decide to add another attacking midfielder\/winger to their ranks.<\/p>\n

The Italian journalist didn\u2019t reveal any names at first, but in the latest video update on his official YouTube channel, he identified Mbeumo as a potential candidate for the role.<\/p>\n

Romano insists that Man Utd\u2019s interest in the French Cameroonian is \u2018genuine\u2019, even though signing him won\u2019t be easy due to the high cost of the operation and the stern competition for his services.<\/p>\n

It has also been reported by several sources earlier on Monday that United have made first contact with the winger, while Brentford are seeking \u00a350 million to part ways with their prized asset.<\/p>\n

Man United interested in Bryan Mbeumo<\/h2>\n

Mbeumo is a Troyes youth product who signed for The Bees in the summer of 2019. The 25-year-old has been a regular feature for the club for quite some time now, but he truly exploded on the scene this season, scoring 20 goals in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
