<\/p>\nThe Kansas City Chiefs remained undefeated on Sunday after they blocked a last-second field goal from the Denver Broncos. After the Broncos had all but silenced the Chiefs’ offense the entire game, they were set to win on a field goal, which did not happen.<\/p>\n

This is what separates teams from championship teams. What is even more impressive is Kansas City continues to win despite missing some key players.<\/p>\n
Wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, running back Isiah Pacheco, and defensive end Charles Omenihu have all been out with injuries. Now, Reid has provided a timeline update on all three.<\/p>\n
When speaking to reporters, Reid was asked about when Smith-Schuster, Pachecho, and Omenihu will return. Reid offered a promising update on Smith-Schuster returning this week, along with Pacheco being right behind. “They’re all close.<\/p>\n
JuJu closer than the other two. I’d tell you, we might have them out there (at practice). They’re all close, all three of them.”<\/p>\n
Reid revealed that Smith-Schuster is likely to practice this week, but he also revealed that all three have a chance to appear at practice this week. Adding all three back into the starting lineup will be huge for the Chiefs.<\/p>\n
Smith-Schuster has been dealing with a nagging hamstring that has kept him sidelined for the past two games. Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula in Week 2 and has been out since then.<\/p>\n
Omenihu is still recovering from a torn ACL but is working his way back. Since Pacheco went down, the Chiefs signed former running back standout Kareem Hunt.<\/p>\n
Hunt has filled in for six games and secured 449 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. This also includes 116 yards receiving.<\/p>\n
Though Hunt has proven he has plenty more in the gas tank, getting back Pacheco will make the Chiefs’ offense even more dynamic.<\/p>\n
Pacheco and Hunt together in the backfield will give the Chiefs a dangerous one-two punch.<\/p>\n
The same can be said for when Smith-Schuster returns healthy. The Chiefs traded for DeAndre Hopkins, and his being teamed up with Smith-Schuster could turn Kansas City’s offense into something even more unstoppable. Omenihu can also rejoin Chris Jones to give the defense a much-needed boost.<\/p>\n
