Travis Kelce is issuing an apology for his first comments about the Kansas City Chiefs season opener in Brazil.<\/div>\n

About a week ago,\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0star\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/a>\u00a0was not looking forward to his team’s season-opening game after the announcement that it was going to be played in Sao Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n

“I’ll be there, not to do a podcast.\u00a0I’ll be playing football in the (expletive) heat,<\/a>” Kelce said in an earlier episode of his\u00a0New Heights<\/em>\u00a0podcast.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs are scheduled to play the\u00a0Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>\u00a0in their Week 1 matchup south of the equator on Sept. 5.\u00a0The Brazil temperatures are expected to be in the 80s, but the humidity, Kelce claims, will make for a “miserable” environment.<\/p>\n

Playing in Kansas City his entire career, he has clearly grown to favor colder playing climates than hot ones.<\/p>\n

“I will say this, if it\u2019s humid, I\u2019m gonna be miserable,” Kelce said.\u00a0“\u2026 If it\u2019s hot and humid, and it\u2019s kind a what I\u2019m expecting, I\u2019m going to be miserable but we\u2019re going to find a way to get a win.”<\/p>\n
