With Portnoy having endorsed Trump last fall while also being an unabashed Swiftie, Varney asked whether the Barstool Sports founder was upset by the president\u2019s claim.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not upset with Trump. Trump\u2019s Trump, so that was not a surprising thing,\u201d Portnoy said. \u201cI mean, he\u2019s wrong. Like, you can\u2019t be more wrong about anything. Taylor Swift is as hot as she\u2019s ever been in the streets. She hasn\u2019t put out new music, but if she said, \u2018hey, snap my fingers, I want to sell 500,000 or a million tickets in three seconds and break Live Nation, she\u2019d do it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Last September, Swift endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for president. Trump responded about as maturely as one might expect, by posting \u201cI hate Taylor Swift\u201d on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Trump went on to taunt Swift for getting booed at this year\u2019s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>And when the Eagles celebrated their Super Bowl win with a visit to the White House last month, Trump used it as an opportunity to jab Swift again.<\/p>\n<p>And last week, Trump attempted to reignite his one-sided feud with Swift in a social media post. \u201cHas anyone noticed,\u201d he wrote, \u201cthat since I said \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,\u2019 she\u2019s no longer \u2018HOT?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cListen, Trump goes on a rant, something made him upset, but he couldn\u2019t be more wrong about this if his life depended on it,\u201d Portnoy insisted. \u201cTaylor is the number one musician in the world and there\u2019s nobody particularly close.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Taylor Swift is as hot as she\u2019s ever been&#8221;
