It was a solid season overall for the\u00a0Golden State Warriors<\/a>\u00a0as they were able to turn their season around and make a run in the playoffs before being eliminated in the second round.<\/p>\n Of course, the Warriors had a disappointing start to the season as they were as low as 11th<\/sup>\u00a0in the Western Conference standings before they added\u00a0Jimmy Butler<\/a>\u00a0at the trade deadline.<\/p>\n With their new star duo of Butler and\u00a0Stephen Curry<\/a>, Golden State was able to climb to seventh in the standings and advance to the playoffs after making it out of the Play-In Tournament.<\/p>\n Golden State then defeated the\u00a0Houston Rockets<\/a>\u00a0in seven games in the first round before losing in five games to the\u00a0Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>\u00a0in the second round after Curry went down with an injury in Game 1.<\/p>\n The Warriors now enter the offseason looking to improve their roster around Curry, Butler and\u00a0Draymond Green<\/a>\u00a0and they have emerged as one of the favorites to land a star point guard from the\u00a0Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>\u00a0via trade.<\/p>\n According to Bovada, the Warriors have the second-best odds (+500) to land Austin Reaves from the Lakers in the offseason.<\/p>\n The Knicks, Heat, and Clippers are among the favorites to land Austin Reaves, per @BovadaOfficial<\/a> <\/p>\n New York Knicks +400 — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) May 12, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
