Is the Billie Eilish vs. Taylor Swift rivalry escalating into a full-blown feud?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the question fans are asking after Billie appeared to throw some mild shade at Taylor\u2019s Eras Tour during a recent livestream.<\/p>\n

Billie noted that she won\u2019t be putting on any three-hour concerts on her recently extended tour. And she seemed to condemn artists (like Taylor) who do exactly that.<\/p>\n

Did Billie Eilish Shade Taylor Swift?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNobody wants that,\u201d Billie remarked, according to Page Six. \u201cYou guys don\u2019t want that. I don\u2019t want that. I don\u2019t even want that as a fan.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven my favorite artists, I\u2019m not trying to hear them for three hours. That\u2019s far too long,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

On X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms, Swifties clapped back at Billie\u2019s remarks.<\/p>\n

They noted that many fans do want marathon concerts.<\/p>\n

\u201cMillions of people seem to want that but ok,\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s weird saying that when all of the shows were sold out and even made into a movie that ppl bought tickets to also see so saying \u2018nobody wants that\u2019 is an actual lie,\u201d another added.<\/em><\/p>\n

Other users came to Billie\u2019s defense and pointed out that she never mentioned Taylor by name.<\/p>\n

In fact, she\u2019s been known to praise Taylor, Beyonce, and others for their ability to put on massive stadium shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that they can put on a show that long, and it\u2019s filled with so many incredible moments, is really amazing,\u201d Billie gushed to the Los Angeles Times in 2023.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time that Billie has been accused of throwing subtle shade at Taylor.<\/p>\n

Billie Seemed to Criticize Taylor For Releasing Multiple Versions of the Same Album<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe live in this day and age where, for some reason, it\u2019s very important to some artists to make all sorts of different vinyl and packaging,\u201d Billie said in an interview with Billboard.<\/em><\/p>\n

She noted that this practice \u201cups the sales and ups the numbers and gets them more money\u201d but is bad for the environment due to \u201cwasteful\u201d packaging.<\/p>\n

Many fans theorized that the comments were inspired by Taylor\u2019s decision to release bonus content on the same day that Billie\u2019s latest album hit stores.<\/p>\n

Eilish clarified that she had no intention of \u201csingling anyone out,\u201d noting that the practice is an \u201cindustry-wide systemic issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay so it would be so awesome if people would stop putting words into my mouth and actually read what I said,\u201d she wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to variants, so many artists release them, including me, which I clearly state in the article.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taylor has not publicly responded to any of this alleged shame.<\/p>\n
