New York Giants<\/a>\u00a0quarterback<\/a>\u00a0Russell Wilson has been active on social media, showing off his recent sporting endeavors.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Wilson made an appearance at the\u00a0New York Liberty<\/a>‘s first game of the\u00a0WNBA<\/a>\u00a0season. In their matchup against the\u00a0Las Vegas Aces<\/a>, the Liberty took home the victory, 92-78.<\/p>\n

After sitting courtside for the Liberty game, Wilson took a trip to watch\u00a0Aaron Judge<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0New York Yankees<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Wilson posted a few photos of his interaction with Judge ahead of the Yankees’ matchup against the\u00a0New York Mets<\/a>\u00a0in the Subway Series.<\/p>\n

Wilson was in attendance for his son Future’s 11th birthday. His son received signed gear from Judge after the family met the Yankees star.<\/p>\n

“Best Bday gifts for Future +++ More,” Wilson said. “Thanks Homie! Future can’t stop smiling for his 11th Bday.”<\/p>\n

Russell Wilson was interviewed before the New York Yankees versus New York Mets game, revealing the reasoning behind his decision to attend the Subway Series game.<\/p>\n

“It’s my son’s 11th birthday tomorrow and all he wanted to do was go to a Yankees game” Wilson said,\u00a0per SNY<\/a>. “They just won the championship in San Diego and he played for the Yankees (little league), so he wanted to come see the Yankees.”<\/p>\n

Wilson then explained how much he admired Aaron Judge, a guy with whom he was once locker room mates.<\/p>\n

He was assigned to the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate in 2018 and wound up competing for the\u00a0MLB<\/a>\u00a0team in spring training.<\/p>\n

“You know obviously being on Aaron Judge, a guy that I was once locker room mates with him in the clubhouse,” Wilson said. “A guy that I usually admire, the great year he’s having… It’s just an honor to be here.
