The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>\u00a0have one of the\u00a0best quarterbacks<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0NFL<\/a>\u00a0history in\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/a>, but he is not necessarily getting paid like it.<\/p>\n

There is now another field general that is getting paid more than Mahomes, as the\u00a0San Francisco 49ers<\/a>\u00a0just signed\u00a0Brock Purdy<\/a>\u00a0to a five-year, $265 million extension. While he is a great\u00a0quarterback<\/a>, most would say that Mahomes should be getting more money than him.<\/p>\n

But Purdy is not the only one who is getting more money per year than the Chiefs star, as they are an absurd 12 quarterbacks who are above him.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most outrageous is\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/a>\u00a0QB\u00a0Deshaun Watson<\/a>, who is likely going to miss the entirety of the 2025 season recovering from a torn Achilles that he suffered in Week 7 of the 2024 season.<\/p>\n
