The team has signed a third player from the group, with TCU LB Cooper McDonald joining\u00a0Carson-Newman S Major Williams<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Louisiana Tech WR Jimmy Holiday<\/a>\u00a0among Kansas City’s post-rookie minicamp UDFA ranks.<\/p>\n

McDonald posted some images of himself from the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp this weekend and pictures of him signing his contract on his Instagram page. Check it out:<\/p>\n

This is another highly competitive position in Kansas City. Shaun Bradley and Blake Lynch are both recent cuts, and the team also has several depth players at linebacker who have been in the system for a long time. Still, McDonald seems to have shown enough to the defensive and special teams coaching staff to earn a spot on the 90-man offseason roster for the time being.<\/p>\n
