All their expiring [contracts] and two first-round picks and they get Embiid,\u201d Simmons said.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019ll get you out of the Joel Embiid business. Here\u2019s your get out of jail free card, you don\u2019t have to deal with him anymore.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The proposed trade would send multiple expiring contracts from the Lakers to Philadelphia along with two first-round draft picks. He was also suspended for three games following an altercation with a Philadelphia Inquirer columnist.<\/p>\n<p>The 76ers shut Embiid down in late February while the team was falling in the standings.
