My <\/strong>final overall ranking:<\/strong> No. 29<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rare to find a Pro Bowl-caliber talent at left tackle late in Round 1. But had Simmons not torn his left patellar tendon in October, there\u2019s a good chance he would have been the first tackle drafted. Simmons was playing as well as any offensive tackle in the country prior to getting hurt and could be the Chiefs\u2019 long-desired solution to protecting Patrick Mahomes\u2019 blind side.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

5. Kansas City Chiefs (-1)<\/p>\n

It feels almost sacrilegious to have the Chiefs ranked this low, but I\u2019m curious to see how they handle this transition in the team-building process. I think Josh Simmons is a phenomenal pick. But after his knee injury in college, how quickly can he be expected to work his way into the starting lineup? And while I love Day 3 picks Jalen Royals and Brashard Smith, how big of an impact are they going to make as rookies?<\/p>\n

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: DI <\/strong>OMARR NORMAN-LOTT (ROUND 2, PICK 63)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Norman-Lott boasted some of the best pass-rush efficiency numbers in the class, with an 18.9% pass-rush win rate and an 88.3 PFF pass-rush grade against true pass sets. Even if he doesn\u2019t develop into a three-down player, the Chiefs know how to maximize one-gap attacking defensive linemen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The NFL fined Atlanta $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 for failing to prevent the disclosure of confidential information distributed to the club in advance of the 2025 NFL Draft, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.<\/p>\n

The Falcons quickly accepted the penalties levied against them in a statement released Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Bills adding free agent WR Elijah Moore, source says | ESPN<\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills are signing veteran wide receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, a source told ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Moore, 25, caught a career-high 61 passes for 538 yards and one touchdown last season for the Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n

Moore can play multiple receiver spots and joins a group in Buffalo that includes Joshua Palmer and Laviska Shenault Jr., who were added in free agency; 2024 second-round pick Keon Coleman; Khalil Shakir, who was signed to a four-year contract extension this offseason; and last year\u2019s free agent addition, Curtis Samuel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Starting this play aligned wide on the edge, Gillotte quickly fires upfield. As the right tackle tries to get his hands up, Gillotte quickly swipes them away and starts to turn the corner. While he doesn\u2019t quite bring down quarterback Cam Ward, his pressure disrupts the play\u2019s timing; Miami gains only a few yards.<\/p>\n

Gillotte\u2019s hand-fighting (and flexibility around the corner) will significantly add to Kansas City\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
