Donald Trump has made yet another swipe at Taylor Swift.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pair have never seen eye-to-eye, having exchanged a series of jabs at one another over the years.<\/p>\n

Back in 2018, the now-president said he liked\u00a0Swift’s\u00a0music\u00a0’25 percent less’ because she voiced her support for Democratic Senate candidate Phil Bredesen.<\/p>\n

He said of the singer that she ‘knows nothing’.<\/p>\n

Then, during\u00a0Trump’s first presidency, Swift said in 2020 that the country would ‘vote [him] out’ later that year \u2014 which they did, but it wasn’t long until Trump was back in office again.<\/p>\n

And it appears as if Trump and Swift’s dislike of each other has continued into his second presidency, as demonstrated at this year’s\u00a0Super Bowl\u00a0where the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0went head-to-head with the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Eagles proved victorious, and in light of their win, the whole team was invited to visit Trump at the White House yesterday (April 28).<\/p>\n

Noting that he was in attendance at the historic game back in February, the president jibed: “I was there along with Taylor Swift \u2014 how did that work out?”<\/p>\n

Swift is dating Chiefs tight end\u00a0Travis Kelce, and while her attendance at the 2024 Super Bowl worked out in the Chiefs’ favor, this year, the team lost out.<\/p>\n

Trump’s recent remarks come after\u00a0he taunted Swift\u00a0shortly after the Chiefs’ defeat earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Swift was shown on camera and the crowd booed the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker. Meanwhile, when the camera panned to Trump, the crowd cheered.<\/p>\n

Reacting to this afterwards, the president jeered on social media: “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”<\/p>\n

Others came to Swift’s defense at the time, including tennis star Serena Williams, who wrote on\u00a0Twitter<\/a>: “I love you @taylorswift13 dont listen to those booo!!”<\/p>\n

Others argued that it was somewhat normal that the singer was booed by Eagles fans, as she was there to support the team’s competitors.<\/p>\n

“The boos are from Eagles fans aka the opposite team she supports this is normal,” someone suggested at the time.<\/p>\n

But others urged the ‘grown ass men’ shouting at Swift to ‘get a grip’.<\/p>\n

While Trump doesn’t have much time for Kelce’s partner Swift, he has previously gushed about\u00a0Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany.<\/p>\n

“I watched this great quarterback who has a phenomenal wife,” Trump said of Mahomes in a pre-game interview in February,\u00a0as per\u00a0The Independent. “She\u2019s a MAGA fan\u2026 she\u2019s a great person.”<\/p>\n

Going on to share who he wanted to win the Super Bowl, he said: “I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as [Mahomes has] won, I\u2019d have to go with Kansas City.”<\/p>\n

Fans have hit out at Travis Kelce after he told reporters it’s a ‘great honor’ to have President Trump in attendance at Sunday’s Super Bowl.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, no doubt hoping to secure an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl crown – which would be their fourth in six years.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs and Eagles last competed in 2023’s\u00a0Super Bowl, where the former rallied for a 38-35 win.<\/p>\n

But during a media briefing on Wednesday (February 5), Chiefs tight-end\u00a0Kelce\u00a0sparked confusion when he reacted to news that\u00a0Donald Trump\u00a0is attending the match.<\/p>\n

Trump is set to make history as the first ever sitting US president to attend the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

When asked by reporters how he feels about Trump’s attendance,\u00a0NFL\u00a0star Kelce responded: “That\u2019s awesome, it\u2019s a great honour.<\/p>\n

“No matter who the president is, I know I\u2019m excited because it\u2019s the biggest game of my life.<\/p>\n

“Having the president there, it\u2019s the best country in the\u00a0world\u00a0and that\u2019s pretty cool.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Kelce’s comments come months after his girlfriend, megastar\u00a0Taylor Swift, and Trump clashed during the presidential election.<\/p>\n

Swift made her support for Democratic Party leader\u00a0Kamala Harris\u00a0public knowledge on September 10, prompting Trump to say he was ‘not a fan of Taylor Swift’ during a Fox & Friends interview the following day.<\/p>\n
