An MRI on Blake Snell\u2019s left shoulder showed no structural damage,\u00a0Dodgers\u00a0manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Friday night at Dodger Stadium.<\/p>\n
This comes after Snell\u2019s bullpen session Wednesday at Wrigley Field\u00a0was scrapped when he felt discomfort in his left shoulder.<\/p>\n
The left-hander\u00a0was placed on the injured list on April 9 with shoulder inflammation. There is no timetable yet for his return.<\/p>\n
From\u00a0Beth Harris of Associated Press:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The results of Thursday\u2019s MRI were a cause for optimism, Roberts said.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cAt some point I think he\u2019ll get an injection to calm it down, and then we\u2019ll figure out when we pick up the throwing program,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cBut I think for us, we feel given the findings of the MRI that we dodged a bullet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Prior to Friday\u2019s start, Yoshinobu Yamamoto\u2019s best pitch\u00a0caught the eye of David Adler at MLB.com: \u201cYamamoto\u2019s splitter is the most valuable splitter in the Majors so far.
