The team with MLB’s highest payroll looks to be paying massive dividends for New York.<\/p>\n
After originally buying the team for $2.4 billion back in 2020, it sure seems like Mets owner Steve Cohen is enjoying the early-season success.<\/p>\n
After a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies, Cohen took to his X account to express his excitement about New York’s season so far.<\/p>\n
“We need to keep riding this wave,” he wrote.<\/p>\n
