The article claimed that Musk posted on X: <em>&#8220;Patrick Mahomes has redefined the game of football. I stand with you, Patrick,&#8221;\u00a0to which Mahomes allegedly responded,\u00a0&#8220;Keep it and spend it on something that actually helps people.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This interaction never occurred, and there is no evidence Musk donated $10 million to Mahomes. Because of this, the claim is false.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media-proxy.snopes.com\/width\/600?url=https:\/\/media.snopes.com\/2025\/03\/elon_musk_quote_on_patrick_mahomes.png\" alt=\"\" \/><strong>(x.com)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If Musk did make such a donation, major news outlets also would have reported it.
