Taylor Swift should be cast as the lead. While co-hosting on <em>TODAY With Jenna &amp; Friends<\/em>, Banks theorized who should take over the starring roles following the precedent set by the late Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Taylor Swift, because business, commerce, art, and she would frickin\u2019 sell like crazy,\u201d quipped the <em>America\u2019s Next Top Model <\/em>creator.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>When asked who should star alongside Swift, Banks kept the interracial romance trope and replied, \u201cBut, okay, I\u2019m just gonna be real, I\u2019m a Black girl. It was Whitney Houston as a Black girl [and] Kevin Costner as a White man.\u00a0What if we flipped it, and it was Taylor Swift and Idris Elba?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jenna Bush Hager immediately cheered, adding, \u201cThat is good!\u201d Banks chimed in, \u201cRight?! That would be so hot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s even going to use her own \u201cfriendship\u201d with Elba to try to make it happen. \u201cWe\u2019re like WhatsApp friends right now. I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you down?\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018Yeah, Banks.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Okay, I\u2019m gonna make this happen.\u2019 I feel like we should do, like, the romance thing,\u201d she joked.<\/p>\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Bodyguard (1992) Official Trailer - Kevin Costner, Whitney Houston Movie HD\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4JFRdJTszRM?feature=oembed\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n<p>Bush Hager asked Banks if she\u2019d star in the remake and Banks declared, \u201cHell no.
