Fans have been waiting\u00a0a long time for Taylor Swift\u2019s final two \u201cTaylor\u2019s Version\u201d re-recordings, which has led some fans to believe that her 12th studio album may be arriving first instead. This theory now carries more weight, thanks to comments from an unexpected party.<\/p>\n

The singer is reportedly working on new music, according to Swedish producer Jacob Criborn \u2014\u00a0one half of the DJ duo Nause \u2014 who alluded to Swift\u2019s next project in\u00a0a new interview\u00a0posted by Universal Music Sweden.<\/p>\n

Is TS12 Happening?<\/h2>\n

Criborn was speaking about working with composer and multi-instrumentalist Erik Arvinder, who arranged strings and horns on his new \u201cCanelloni Macaroni\u201d\u00a0remix. During the recording process, Criborn casually revealed in Swedish that Arvinder told him, \u201cVi ska bara g\u00f6ra klart Taylor Swift’s platta,\u201d which translates in English to, \u201cWe’re just finishing Taylor Swift’s album.\u201d<\/p>\n

If his statement is true, it\u2019s likely that Arvinder contributed instrumental arrangements to whatever Swift is working on.<\/p>\n

Although he hasn\u2019t worked with Swift before, it didn\u2019t take long for Swifties to circulate the interview clip on social media and speculate that she was hard at work on her next album (dubbed \u201cTS12\u201d by fans).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear whether Criborn was referring to TS12,\u00a0Reputation (Taylor\u2019s Version),\u00a0or even\u00a0Taylor Swift (Taylor\u2019s Version).<\/p>\n

Given that he heard this information secondhand from Arvinder, it\u2019s possible that he doesn\u2019t know himself. However, Universal Music Sweden quickly\u00a0deleted their original post, which only fueled speculation about TS12 even more.<\/p>\n

What Are The Signs?<\/h2>\n

Swift has not commented on the potential slip-up. She usually keeps quiet about her upcoming projects until she\u2019s ready to announce them.<\/p>\n

But of course, that hasn\u2019t stopped her from leaving\u00a0potential Easter eggs\u00a0that could hint at her 12th album.<\/p>\n

In March, Swift posted about her BFF Selena Gomez\u2019s new collaborative album with fianc\u00e9 Benny Blanco,\u00a0I Said I Loved You First<\/em>, on her Instagram Story. \u201cI LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,\u201d she wrote, using exactly 12 Ds. She may have also hinted at TS12 at the 2025 Grammys, where she donned earrings with 12 red gems.<\/p>\n
